Please note: this site is under construction As you look through my web site you will learn about me and the type of work I do. All human beings are unique and each has something beautiful. People and faces fascinate me and I try to capture them as best I can. They are my favorite subject. I began drawing as a small child and was always encouraged by my parents to do so although they were highly critical of my work. This has made me especially critical of myself to this day. It is rare that I am ever 'happy' with a painting! I grew up in Scotland where I went to college in Glasgow to study art. Architectural and interior design to be specific! At the end of my second year In college I met my husband who was from New York and moved to the USA. After a break of about 8 years I returned to my first love..... ART! |

Heart of the carribean This painting is of Israel, whom I had the privilege to meet and paint. His heritage is etheopian and his family comes from the carribean. This painting won first place in the pastel division of south shore artist associations anual show, year 2000. Click on my photo page to view more works of art.
